Nobody should feel afraid or intimidated because of their religion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018The whole concept is bizarre to me, but it\u2019s happening right now.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The 53-year-old \u2013 who since her modelling heyday has also become a businesswoman and media personality \u2013 lives in West London with her husband American financier Ty Comfort and sons, Jax and Jett, both 11.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018I had to take the Mezuzah down from my door\u2026 I was afraid for the safety for my children,\u2019 she adds, referring to the small case containing a parchment scroll with verses from the Torah affixed to the doorposts of Jewish homes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Caprice, who was previously romantically linked to Sir Rod Stewart, Hollywood star Dennis Quaid and Prince Andrew, is the daughter of a Jewish mother and a French-Canadian father \u2013 hence the Gallic surname.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">She says despite what she sees as increased animosity towards Jewish people, her faith won\u2019t be shaken.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018It has made me closer to Judaism,\u2019 she says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018And weirdly enough, with all of this backlash and propaganda against us, it\u2019s made the community a lot closer. It\u2019s really scary, more than anything. I discovered the autopay had been removed. I explained. I got no response. Another PCN came in.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">A TfL spokesman said the charges and penalties were a result of Conti \u2018removing his vehicle from auto pay when he was changing the vehicle on the account\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">They added: \u2018We are sorry that more understanding wasn\u2019t shown to Mr Conti when an appeal was submitted after the deadline.
