While Liverpool are aiming to win back-to-back Premier League titles next season, Tottenham are determined to push on after clinching the Europa League in the 2024\/25 campaign and qualifying for the Champions League.<\/p>\n<p>There have been seven new additions to the Liverpool squad that was hugely successful in Arne Slot\u2019s first season in charge, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/tottenham-hotspur\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tottenham<\/a> chairman Daniel Levy has backed his new manager, Thomas Frank, with the signings of Mohammed Kudus and Kota Takai, with loan deals for Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel made permanent and Luka Vuskovic also an option now.<\/p>\n<p>The north London club are not finished there, though, with reports claiming that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/tottenham-hotspur\/rodrygo-real-madrid-tottenham-hotspur-talks-daniel-levy-liverpool-wait\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tottenham are planning an audacious raid on Madrid for Rodrygo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/rodrygo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rodrygo<\/a> is one of the best players in the world and has won LaLiga thrice and the Champions League twice with Madrid so far in his career.<\/p>\n<p>According to AS, Tottenham chairman Levy is keen on a summer deal for Rodrygo and wants the 24-year-old to be the \u2018crown jewel\u2019 of Frank\u2019s \u2018new project.<\/p>\n<p>However, Spurs do not want to pay the \u20ac90million\u00a0(\u00a378m \/ $105m) transfer fee that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/tag\/real-madrid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Madrid<\/a> are demanding for Rodrygo.<\/p>\n<p>TEAMtalk\u2019s transfer correspondent, Rudy Galetti, has reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/transfer-news-three-luis-diaz-replacement-targets-revealed-total-agreement-bayern-munich\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool want Rodrygo as a potential replacement for Luis Diaz<\/a>, who is on his way to Bayern Munich.<\/p>\n<p>Sources have told TEAMtalk that Madrid want add-ons on top of the \u20ac90m\u00a0(\u00a378m \/ $105m) fixed fee for Rodrygo.<\/p>\n<p>On July 22, journalist Santi Aouna reported on X that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/liverpool\/transfer-news-direct-talks-held-over-jaw-dropping-real-madrid-raid-diaz-contingency-plan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool and Rodrygo\u2019s camp have held \u2018direct talks\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Aouna has now claimed that although Tottenham have made an enquiry for the forward, he has no interest in a move to the north London club<a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/tottenham-hotspur\/rodrygo-real-madrid-tottenham-hotspur-talks-daniel-levy-liverpool-wait\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">, dismissing a report in the English media that Rodrygo is willing to join Spurs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Writing on X at 8:15pm on July 28, Aouna noted: \u201cRodrygo has no interest in joining Tottenham despite reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpurs made an inquiry, but there\u2019s no talk ongoing<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Rodrygo leaves Real Madrid, he\u2019s aiming for a bigger club than Tottenham.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Journalist\u00a0Ram\u00f3n \u00c1lvarez de Mon has not totally dismissed Tottenham\u2019s chances of signing Rodrygo, but he has claimed that the Brazilian\u2019s \u2018preference\u2019 is Liverpool.<\/p>\n<p>The reporter wrote on X at 12:13pm on July 28: \u2018Tottenham are in talks for Rodrygo and are waiting to see if\u00a0Liverpool make a move. No decision has been made on the player\u2019s part, and he could stay at Real Madrid.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The journalist added on <a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Ramon_AlvarezMM\/status\/1949914722209505282\" target=\"_blank\">X<\/a>: at 8:27pm on July 28: \u2018Indeed, Rodrygo\u2019s preference is Liverpool.\u2019<\/p>\n<p \u2013 reports<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to AS, Arsenal have cooled their interest in Rodrygo.<\/p>\n<p>While the Gunners\u2019 sporting director, Andrea Berta is \u2018a big admirer\u2019 of Rodrygo\u2019s talent, Arsenal\u2019s \u2018cash flow has dwindled\u2019 following the signing of striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP.<\/p>\n<p>Journalist Ben Jacobs also recently reported that Arsenal do not see enough value in making a big outlay on Rodrygo.<\/p>\n<p>Jacobs old\u00a0Latte Firm: \u201cI think Arsenal love Rodrygo, there\u2019s no denying that, but for it to happen, Trossard or Martinelli must depart and the overall package would have to be deemed valuable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAndrea Berta proved with Viktor Gyokeres that he can drive prices down; the end deal was actually five million less, and that\u2019s Andrea Berta all over \u2013 a bit of a maverick in the market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf he says he wants to leave, Real are open to selling for around \u20ac90m (\u00a378m, $104.5m), but you\u2019ve got the wage and the agent fees, so Arsenal don\u2019t see a great deal of value in the deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they\u2019re going to move, they will need to bring in an important fee for either Trossard or Martinelli and secondly, Berta would have to work his magic to try and drive the overall cost of the deal down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/manchester-city\/rodrygo-real-madrid-man-city-pep-guardiola\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester City, though, are said to be keen on a move for Rodrygo<\/a> in the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>According to a Spanish report, the Madrid forward is Man City manager Pep Guardiola\u2019s \u2018big obsession\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The former Barcelona
