Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has revealed she’s finding motherhood hard as she shared how different her bond is with each of her three kids<\/p>\n

Helen Flanagan<\/a> has candidly reflected on the different bonds with her three children as she confesses to finding motherhood hard. The former Coronation Street<\/a> actress, 34, shares her three children <\/a>Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, four, with her ex Scott Sinclair.<\/a><\/p>\n

She has been open on how she is navigating being a single mum<\/a> and the challenges that come<\/a> with raising children solo. Helen decided to look back on the year so far as she shared her favourite memories with her children.<\/p>\n

In her candid update, Helen wrote: “Looked back at some of my favourite times with the kids this year x Found motherhood hard recently, I\u2019ve felt overwhelmed and stressed the majority of the time and I want to get back to when im present and I\u2019m really in it and I\u2019m really enjoying it x I always wanted to be a mum x.”<\/p>\n

She then opened up on how she mothers each of her kids and added: “I get mum guilt with Matilda as I feel like I\u2019m always pre occupied with her brother, I can\u2019t give her the energy that I want to give her and I feel like she always sees me at my worst.<\/p>\n

“I also feel like she needs calm which I can never be. Delilah, I feel like I\u2019m getting it right with her and I feel like our bond is tight, so that\u2019s something not to beat myself up about.<\/p>\n

“Charlie I could pull my hair out sometimes, I feel like I\u2019ve got the male version of me x.” Helen then opened up on her strained relationship with ex Scott.<\/p>\n

She went on: “Co parenting is hard and not being a team together and not being able to talk about your anxieties and worries for the kids. I suppose you can only do your best and be kind to yourself but I wanted these on my grid for me as they make my soul happy.”<\/p>\n

Helen was flooded with support from her followers as one said: “You\u2019re human and doing your best and you\u2019re an amazing mama! this is your first time living too, give yourself grace.” Another added: “You are a great mummy,” and someone else commented: “You’re doing an amazing job.”<\/p>\n

Following her split<\/a> from Scott after 13 years together, Helen spiraled into a \u201cvery scary\u201d psychotic episode <\/a>while on her dream New Year\u2019s break in Bali with their children<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on that time in her life earlier this year, Helen devastatingly shared how she thought her kids would have been better <\/a>off without her. She bravely posted: “My love life was a s**t show that year\u2026. I didn\u2019t look after my my mental health or think.<\/p>\n

“I felt so s**t and sad. I felt like my whole life was f***ed up now and I had the perfect family. 13 years is a long time to be with someone. My whole 20s. I had a lot of family fall outs too and I also lost basically all my money. Me and Scott weren\u2019t married we were engaged.<\/p>\n

“My mental health was so bad I thought maybe my kids would be better off without me and maybe they would be better off with their dad as he\u2019s more level headed than me. I love my kids more than words can say but when you are not well you\u2019re not well.”<\/p>\n
