The residents of the road in the Broomhill area of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/brislington\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Brislington<\/a> say <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/bristol-city-council\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Bristol City Council<\/a> has neglected the lane, let it become too overgrown and people have dumped everything from logs to boats, blocking up their access.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">They said that, as well as the issues with rubbish being dumped and access being blocked, they fear a fire could start and spread to threaten their homes &#8211; after someone set a <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/news\/bristol-news\/wildfire-blaze-threatened-bristol-homes-10350133\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"dumped sofa on fire and it spread across a nearby field earlier this monthLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">dumped sofa on fire and it spread across a nearby field earlier this month<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Belroyal Avenue is a <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/news\/bristol-news\/meet-amazing-dancing-julie-who-4033435\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"U-shaped road with two entrances off Broomhill RoadLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">U-shaped road with two entrances off Broomhill Road<\/a> in BS4 that was built in the 1950s as part of the wider council housebuilding development. It\u2019s got worse gradually over time, and a lot worse in the last year or so.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cSomeone just comes along and dumps wood chippings, logs, trees all over it, and we get all sorts of other stuff too. This is supposed to be a public road with vehicular access, but it\u2019s just been neglected.
