But he didn\u2019t go into the Tour de France this year as the favourite for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bikeradar.com\/features\/tour-de-france-jersey-colours\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">maillot vert<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Many had Jasper Philipsen down as the most likely to win the jersey, but the Alpecin Deceuninck rider crashed out on stage 3, leaving the door open for Milan.<\/p>\n<p>While sprinters Tim Merlier and Biniam Girmay posed little threat to Milan, his closest competition in fact came from Tadej Poga\u010dar, who won the overall yellow and polka dot (king of the mountains) jerseys. <\/p>\n<p>Milan eventually secured the green jersey after matching Merlier\u2019s two stage wins and winning 372 points to Poga\u010dar\u2019s 294.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Although Milan rode much of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bikeradar.com\/events\/tour-de-france\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tour de France<\/a> on Lidl-Trek\u2019s \u2018Couler\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bikeradar.com\/reviews\/bikes\/road-bikes\/trek-madone-7-slr-gen-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trek Madone SLR<\/a> bikes, the team turned to\u00a0 Trek\u2019s Project One custom bike programme for Milan\u2019s green machine.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s finished with the Chroma Ivy chrome green paint, with a few extra details for 2025\u2019s fast man.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan Milan\u2019s green Trek Madone Project One\u00a0<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Lild-Trek-Milan-Bike-details-71-scaled-1600x0-c-default.jpg\" alt=\"Jonathan Milan's Trek Madone SLR Project One.\" class=\"wp-image-932261\"\/>Jonathan Milan rides a 60cm frame, but that&#8217;s not so easy to tell from this picture\u2026 Trek<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Lild-Trek-Milan-Bike-details-30-scaled-1600x800-c-center.jpg\" alt=\"Jonathan Milan's green Trek Madone SLR for 2025 Tour de France.\" class=\"wp-image-932245\"\/>The bike has a chrome green finish.
