Leeds United have identified Artem Dovbyk as someone to address their striker concerns.<\/strong><\/p>\n With a deal for Igor Paixao now dead in the water<\/a>, Leeds need to accelerate their search for other attacking targets ahead of their return to the Premier League.<\/p>\n Taking that into account, the Whites have been linked with a move to sign Roma\u2019s Dovbyk<\/a>, with an exit from Italy potentially on the cards.<\/p>\n The Ukrainian scored 12 goals in 32 Serie A appearances last time out, and at 28 years old, is in the prime of his career.<\/p>\n Roma signed Dovbyk<\/a> from Girona in 2024 for a fee in the region of \u00a326million, and they will look to recoup those finances at the very least.<\/p>\n It is believed it would take a bid north of \u00a330.3m for Roma to accept, and after missing out on Paixao<\/a> for a similar fee, Leeds certainly have the ability to match that.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Dovbyk\u2019s record last season.<\/p>\n Via Capology<\/a>, the 28-year-old earns approximately \u00a3123,000 per week, or \u00a36.4m per year, which would make him one of the highest earners at Elland Road if a move were to happen.<\/p>\n However, those finances seem more than reasonable for a player of his reputation and quality, and with Leeds\u2019 need to sign someone who can score the goals in the Premier League.<\/p>\n Dovbyk has certainly been around the block throughout his career, though he has scored goals at every club he has been at.<\/p>\n He has 17 goals in 45 appearances for Roma, having scored 24 in 39 for Girona before his big-money move to the Serie A.<\/p>\n The Ukrainian is an out-and-out striker, which is something that the Whites certainly need this summer. <\/p>\n For his country, Dovbyk has made 36 senior appearances, registering 11 goals, with his debut coming all the way back in 2017.<\/p>\n It would be a major coup for Leeds<\/a> if they can pull this one off.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Leeds-United-Daniel-Farke-1024x576.png\")
