Leeds United need to try and balance the books this summer after seven new signings in the transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With Daniel Farke<\/a> aiming for safety in the Premier League<\/a> next season, these new additions were no doubt needed.<\/p>\n

As Leeds<\/a> look to work within their PSR limits, the 49ers<\/a> will know players must head in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n

With the Whites already spending over \u00a380 million this summer and no sales made, it might be a concerning topic for the owners.<\/p>\n

Isaac Schmidt will leave Leeds on loan<\/a>, but without a sale; this doesn\u2019t address these worries, and now another player could follow the same path.<\/p>\n

With exits considered, Mateo Joseph<\/a> is a player who has taken the limelight at Elland Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As the Spanish striker assesses his future after last season\u2019s limited game time, Farke confirmed Joseph wants to leave<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Due to this, the print edition of L\u2019Esportiu (28\/07\/25) has reported that LaLiga side Girona have submitted an offer for the forward.<\/p>\n

Girona will challenge Real Betis\u2019 interest in Joseph<\/a>, but are not too eager to pay the \u00a312 million laid out by Leeds, as a loan sounds more \u2018flexible\u2019 for the Spanish side.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old is clearly hoping to find a starting role at another club, as many outfits will like what they see in the youngster.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s still a player of promise, so Leeds might not want to jump the gun on a permanent sale despite their PSR concerns, as Graham Smyth said a loan for Joseph \u2018makes sense\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Betis are still pushing for the Spain youth international\u2019s transfer, but the option of a loan to Girona is now on the table for the 49ers to consider.<\/p>\n

Mateo Joseph\u2019s Erling Haaland comparison gives Leeds United a problem<\/p>\n

It\u2019s looking clearer that, despite Joseph\u2019s wishes, Leeds might have to settle on a loan deal if the striker wants game time.<\/p>\n

Although a permanent transfer could see \u00a342.5 million available from Joseph\u2019s sale<\/a>, the possibility of him improving on loan is still a welcome option.<\/p>\n

There is a very likely chance that the striker improves with a good amount of game time, and after Joseph was compared to Erling Haaland<\/a>, Leeds could regret letting him go permanently, so a loan might be the correct choice moving forward.<\/p>\n

However, the problem here is that the Spaniard\u2019s sale would work for Leeds in terms of a financial aspect, but it\u2019s whether they are willing to take that risk of a permanent exit.<\/p>\n
