A heartbroken family are desperately trying to find a Wishaw <\/a>dad who vanished in Glasgow city centre.<\/p>\n David Smith has not been in touch with his tight-knit family since Saturday, July 26. The last sighting of the 23-year-old was by his mother at 12pm that day in the North Lanarkshire<\/a> town.<\/p>\n It’s understood dad-of-one David boarded a train alone at Cleland and travelled to Glasgow Central station. He disembarked with three other men, and walked to Gordon Street, before disappearing <\/a>from view.<\/p>\n David, who is a father to a three-year-old boy, has not been seen or heard from since<\/a>.<\/p>\n Speaking to Glasgow Live<\/a>, his sister, Shannonkay Smith, 24, said: \u201cWe\u2019re all heartbroken. I\u2019m heading into Glasgow to look for my brother and to put up posters.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s very vulnerable. My brother is not in a right headspace; he\u2019s in a dark place. He has a beautiful young boy at home who needs him, and a family who love him, and we just want to hear that he\u2019s safe <\/a>or that someone has seen him.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is totally out of character for David<\/a>. He calls my mum fifty times a day to make sure she\u2019s not taken an extra step he doesn\u2019t know about.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s really close to his family and protective of his family<\/a>. When we do have fall outs, he\u2019s always in touch<\/a>.<\/p>\n Shannonkay added: \u201cThere\u2019s been no call at all. We\u2019ve had no contact <\/a>from twelve o\u2019clock on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n “My brother doesn\u2019t know people in Glasgow<\/a>, he has no friends there.
