A huge scene has been put in place in Manchester city centre with an evidence screen erected outside the Arndale following reports of a male ‘falling from a car park’ on Tuesday (July 29).<\/p>\n

An air ambulance was also scrambled to the scene, landing in a car park near to Chetham’s School of Music, as police and paramedics raced to seal off the area.<\/p>\n

High Street was taped off in both directions, with tram services also cancelled between Shudehill and Market Street<\/a> due to the incident.<\/p>\n

In a statement on social media Greater Manchester Police<\/a> said: “We are currently responding to a concern for welfare incident outside the Arndale shopping centre.<\/p>\n

It’s understood a male is believed to have fallen from the building. The extent of his injuries is not yet clear. His age has also not yet been confirmed.<\/p>\n

A large scene was put in place between Shudehill and Market Street. Multiple ambulances were seen lining the road along with police vehicles and vans amid investigations.<\/p>\n
