If you\u2019re having trouble controlling lights via Google Home and voice commands, you\u2019re not alone, as Google has acknowledged some issues regarding this functionality and is working to roll out a fix.<\/p>\n
Over the past several days, a number of Google Home users have noted issues with controlling their lights. There are reports of issues within the actual Google Home app, but the bigger issue has been around voice commands through Assistant.<\/p>\n
Several threads on Reddit <\/a>and <\/a>Google\u2019s <\/a>Nest <\/a>forums <\/a>show users running into problems with controlling lights in specific rooms over the past few days. In particular, the problem seems to involved users being unable to control specific lights or control lights in a specific room. So, \u201cturn off all lights\u201d may work, but if you try to control a specific light fixture or the lights in a specific room, the command seems to fail.
