The royal family fully supported.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time, both women had similar cropped blonde hairstyles, though Sophie, now 60, has longer hair in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>With similar features, including blue eyes and fair hair, the resemblance between the two was often noted, and Sophie herself once acknowledged it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t deny that we do look alike. But I couldn&#8217;t ever compete with Diana\u2019s image. while dating Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s youngest son, Prince Edward.<\/p>\n<p>Princess Diana died at the age of 36 on August 31, 1997, after a car crash in Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Her funeral service at Westminster Abbey was attended by more than 2,000 people, with around a million mourners lining the streets of London and an estimated two billion people watching around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Two years
