\n Baker & Baker, which employs more than 300 people at its site on Cutler Heights Lane, recorded group revenue of \u20ac623.5 million, a gross profit growth of 7.5 per cent to \u20ac90.1 million, and adjusted EBITDA of \u20ac32.7 million.\n<\/p>\n
\n (The EBITDA performance excludes some one-off, non-underlying items incurred due to restructuring activities and divestments that, according to a spokesperson, “do not reflect the underlying profitability of the group.”)\n<\/p>\n
\n The group, which employs around 1,300 people across four UK sites, saw a 3.7 per cent decline in product volumes, attributed to rising raw material costs and “other inflationary effects,” but this was said to be offset by gross profit growth “driven by a positive shift in product mix and effective measures to improve efficiency in the group\u2019s operations.”\n<\/p>\n
\n The company invested approximately \u20ac14 million in productivity, growth, and sustenance projects during the year across its 12 manufacturing sites.\n<\/p>\n
\n At its UK facility in Bradford, Baker & Baker installed a new chocolate system, enabling the launch of three new Milka-branded products for the continental European market: Milka chocolate clusters, Milka cookies, and Milka chocolate-topped brownies.\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson said: “This product range has already seen strong initial growth in France during the first half of 2025.”\n<\/p>\n
\n In Germany, Baker & Baker relocated its office to Bremen\u2019s \u00dcberseestadt district.\n<\/p>\n
\n Also in Germany, investments were made at the Delmenhorst site to improve the management and filtration of palm oil across the site\u2019s doughnut lines.\n<\/p>\n
\n Elsewhere, Baker & Baker introduced C\u00f4te d\u2019Or muffins and doughnuts to Benelux markets in late 2024.\n<\/p>\n

\n Last year, the company launched a group-wide ESG strategy to support its sustainability goals.\n<\/p>\n
\n Actions included preparing for EUDR compliance, investing in a WRAP water stewardship project in the UK, and submitting net zero targets to the Science Based Targets initiative.\n<\/p>\n
