Some of the big names in Manchester music<\/a> history will be taking to the stage at a top festival <\/a>this weekend – and it\u2019ll be held at a stunning 18th-century country house.<\/p>\n

Cheshire Fest will return to Capesthorne Hall and Gardens for a second year with a day full of live music on Saturday (August 2). The 100-acre site, near the village of Siddington in Cheshire<\/a>, features the picturesque Capesthorne Hall, as well as its own lake as well as a chapel and a lodge.<\/p>\n

Located just a five-minute drive away from Knutsford<\/a> Train Station, the hall itself has been used as a filming location for top productions including Cobra, Making of a Lady and Coronation Stree<\/a>t, and is also a popular wedding venue and events space due to its grand exterior.<\/p>\n

But this Saturday, it will cater to more than 5,000 music fans with the return of Cheshire Fest. Headlined by Ministry of Sound Ibiza Anthems with Ellie Sax & Friends, the event will bring the Ibiza vibes to the Cheshire countryside.<\/p>\n

There will also be plenty of Manchester representation on the line-up, including Bez from the Happy Mondays and Peter Hook<\/a> and the Light. Inspiral Carpets, featuring keyboardist Clint Boon, will also be taking part in the festival and are known for their impact on the early 90s Madchester scene.<\/p>\n

The festival will also feature performances from Tunde, of the Lighthouse Family, as well as K-Klass, Billie Clements, Kenny Thomas, and Nico Harmony across the day.<\/p>\n

This year, the festival will also include a brand new stage in the form of the Indie Live Lounge which will host the performances from the Inspiral Carpets and Bez<\/a>, as well as serving as a mecca for indie anthems<\/a> and hosting up-and-coming talent.<\/p>\n

Gates for the festival open from 12pm on Saturday and last entry is at 6pm. The event is scheduled to close at 11pm. The over-18 event will also feature a number of bars and food stalls offering delights and snacks throughout the day via a street food village.<\/p>\n

Throughout the day, there will also be a silent disco, an international lager bar and a wellness tent where people can unwind and partake in a juice detox.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the event, organisers behind Cheshire Fest said: “Following a successful launch last year, this firm favourite amongst Cheshire partygoers is returning on Saturday 2nd August for a day and night of world class performances.<\/p>\n

“Featuring multiple stages including the all-new Indie Live Lounge, 5,000 partygoers are expected to attend this over-18, one-day event, with VIP tickets already sold out. Nestled within 100 acres of picturesque countryside, Macclesfield\u2019s impressive stately home Capesthorne Hall will be home to Cheshire Fest for a second time for a selection of dance, house, rock, indie music and more.”<\/p>\n
