What are we doing here?\u2019 It has got up everyone\u2019s nose here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;It is really so disrespectful that your visitors come to this country, we provide everything for you, you\u2019re making 10 fortunes that you don\u2019t make in South Africa and New Zealand and all you do is whinge and bitch about us.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cAnd then when we come out in the second Test and play unbelievably well and you win in the last second \u2013 on a great try and a fantastic game \u2013 and people say \u2018we don\u2019t know if we\u2019ll come back\u2019. Really? Is that what you\u2019re going to do? Well, good luck.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Continuing his impassioned rant, Williams maintained that the Lions would return to Australia in the future and called on those who support Andy Farrell&#8217;s side to change their attitudes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cI can tell you they\u2019ll come back and I can tell you why they\u2019ll come back,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Because the Lions\u2019 number one is about making money and Australia makes more money than any other tour. That\u2019s the reason they\u2019ll come back.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The second part is Australian rugby is not like any other place in the world. We\u2019ve got <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/rugby-league\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">rugby league<\/a> and AFL, there\u2019s 36 professional teams in rugby league and AFL, we\u2019ve got four professional rugby teams. We\u2019re a minor sport in Australia. It\u2019s not like New Zealand and South Africa and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rugbypass.com\/teams\/ireland\/\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Ireland<\/a> and England, we are a very, very minor sport here and we are hanging on by our fingernails.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;And instead of coming here and saying \u2018we\u2019ll help you hang on, we\u2019ll help your game because we love rugby,\u2019 people come here and say \u2018you guys are simply not good enough, you\u2019re not in our league, what are we doing here?\u2019&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cIt\u2019s been really hard to take, I can tell you.,&#8221; Williams continued. &#8220;What you saw from the Wallabies last week was a response to that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;It\u2019s going to be hard for them this week, they\u2019re so heartbroken, but I hope they come to the Olympic Stadium in Sydney and put in another really positive performance because it does need that and it does need the people who support the Lions to take a breath, stop your arrogance, stop telling us how crap we are.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;We\u2019re fighting by ourselves to keep the game alive, could you help us? That hasn\u2019t been the attitude so far.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lions recreate \u2018Squid Game\u2019 challenge<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The British and Irish Lions have been recreating a challenge from hit Netflix show \u2018Squid Game\u2019 to keep training fresh of Saturday\u2019s final Test against Australia in Sydney.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Andy Farrell\u2019s squad played their own version of \u2018Red Light, Green Light\u2019. In the show, competitors play a version of the playground game with a twist &#8211; being shot by snipers if they fail to stop moving when a giant doll turns around.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThe whole field was covered in equipment they could hide behind,\u201d said attack coach Andrew Goodman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Late prop call-up Tom Clarkson was the first player to be \u2018killed\u2019 in the Lions&#8217; own version of &#8216;Squid Game&#8217;, with Goodman admitting they would have done the game even if the series was tied up at 1-1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThe staff were dressed up in all that kit, the speakers were all set up, it was a bit of fun,&#8221; added Goodman. &#8220;There were people in the top tier keeping an eye on everyone. It was a good crack.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cEvery week we\u2019ve done things like that. It keeps the boys engaged and fresh and it\u2019s not just going into a meeting where it\u2019s rugby all the time. There are little bits like that that make it enjoyable as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biggar &#8216;over the moon&#8217; after Morgan decision<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Dan Biggar has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Jac Morgan&#8217;s crucial clearout on Wallabies flanker Carlo Tizzano at the end of the British &amp; Irish Lions&#8217; second Test, admitting he was &#8220;over the moon&#8221; that his former Wales team-mate escaped punishment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Morgan found himself at the centre of a furore following the full-time whistle in Melbourne, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/sport\/rugby\/rugby-news\/nigel-owens-pulls-apart-jac-32149066\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">with his challenge on Tizzano coming in the build-up to Hugo Keenan&#8217;s dramatic last-minute try<\/a>, which sealed a stunning 26-29 comeback victory on the night and secured the series win in the process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The clearout from the Lions replacement was deemed legal by the match officials but those in the Wallabies camp were left furious with the decision, with head coach Joe Schmidt insisting it was the wrong call and one that didn&#8217;t &#8220;live up to [World Rugby&#8217;s] big player safety push&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Schmidt&#8217;s claims have since been <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/sport\/rugby\/rugby-news\/world-rugby-officially-respond-jac-32155357\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">dismissed by the game&#8217;s global governing body<\/a> and labelled as &#8220;disappointing&#8221;, and Biggar has now weighed in on the situation by claiming the &#8220;evidence was relatively clear&#8221; that the right decision was reached.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cI thought the clean-out was excellent,&#8221; the former Wales fly-half <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.therugbypod.com\/podcast\/episode\/271c4fc1\/episode-45-comeback-of-the-decade-officiating-controversy-and-lions-clean-sweep\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">told The Rugby Pod<\/a>. &#8220;The one thing you could almost argue is that he\u2019s off his feet,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cIf I were the Aussies, I\u2019d probably be focusing a little bit more on that in terms of\u2026 you know sometimes when you see something on a TMO, you almost know in the first instance or the first replay whether it\u2019s going to be a penalty, yellow card, red card or nothing, don\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cFirst time I looked at it, I thought, he\u2019s going to be really unlucky to be done for that. And I don\u2019t think it was foul play,&#8221; Biggar continued. \u201cI suppose in the absolute laws of the book, it potentially could be sealing off, but you\u2019d probably see that clean out or that situation 15 times a game, wouldn\u2019t you?<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cI have to say, I think it was the right call to look at it. \u201c100% it is the right call to look at it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;But I think the evidence was relatively clear and I\u2019m just really pleased that, I mean, I was feeling for Jac Morgan at that point because I thought the big selection process was about, does he start? Does he get on the bench?<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cOnly Welshman on tour. I just thought, how cruel would that be if that was sort of a defining act for him?
