Copenhagen - UEFA Conference League 2024\/25 Round of 16 Second Leg\" \/>Photo by Andrew Kearns \u2013 CameraSport via Getty ImagesEnzo Maresca has convinced Xavi Simons to join Chelsea<\/p>\n<p>One player who could still be added to that group of players is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/tag\/xavi-simons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Xavi Simons<\/a>, who is currently with the RB Leipzig side as they prepare for the new season.<\/p>\n<p>Chelsea believe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/news\/why-chelsea-view-xavi-simons-as-a-strong-fit-for-enzo-marescas-side\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Simons\u2019 versatility makes him the perfect addition<\/a> for Maresca\u2019s side, and he would be replacing the likes of Joao Felix, whose departure has already been confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>The Dutchman has been open to a move to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/club\/stadium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stamford Bridge<\/a> as the clubs discuss a potential deal, however the manager\u2019s involvement seems to have made his mind up.<\/p>\n<p>As per SportsZone, Maresca held \u2018positive and interesting\u2019 talks with Simons, and an official bid from the Blues is expected in the coming hours.<\/p>\n<p>They said: \u201cXavi Simons and Chelsea FC have agreed personal terms today.
