Sheffield Wednesday made the decision to part ways with Danny Rohl on Tuesday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It comes after a summer of doubt, frustration and ultimately anger in South Yorkshire, with Danny Rohl sending supporters a message after leaving the club<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The North Stand at Hillsborough has been shut until further notice<\/a> and with the Owls still under a transfer ban, supporters will be nervous ahead of the new Championship campaign.<\/p>\n

Relegation looks a near-certainty for those in S6 and a new manager is needed, although it looks likely that Henrik Pedersen will take permanent charge of the team. However, Neil Warnock has spoken out on the plight of Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Neil Warnock says he would manage Sheffield Wednesday if given the chance<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been 16 months since Warnock was last the head coach of a club, with the legendary manager taking interim charge of Aberdeen in Scotland. Throughout his storied career, the 76-year-old has seen just about everything there is to see in football, and despite managing Sheffield United<\/a> in the past, he would be open to the job at Sheffield Wednesday. <\/p>\n

When asked if he\u2019d take over the vacancy if offered, he said (via: talkSPORT<\/a>): \u201cWell, you\u2019ve got to say yes. At my age? Deary me, but you never say never in anything.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a good club, and it does need managing, really. I think they\u2019ve not had the sustained success\u2026 I mean, the crowds are unbelievable and they\u2019ve maintained that, whatever division they\u2019ve gone down to.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s sad to see some of the players leaving now because of their contractual situations, but it will bounce back, all good clubs bounce back.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was looking at the fixtures yesterday, I think it\u2019s December, Sheffield United vs Wednesday, I was just looking at when I\u2019m going to go and watch a game up there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leadership is needed at Hillsborough<\/p>\n

After a disastrous summer, it\u2019s going to be a tough slog for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship next season and Pedersen will be hoping to implement his own style on the team in the next few weeks and months.<\/p>\n

While he has not been confirmed as the permanent manager, he will take interim charge and with just over a week to go until the Owls\u2019 first Championship game, there\u2019s not much time to dwell on the situation.<\/p>\n

Warnock came close to managing Sheffield Wednesday in the past<\/a>, but it looks as though his managerial days are now behind him.<\/p>\n
