Sheffield Wednesday are in crisis, but Dejphon Chansiri doesn\u2019t appear close to fixing those problems.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most recently, Danny Rohl has left Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> on the back of players not being happy with his actions over the summer.<\/p>\n

The German is the latest in a long line of exits this summer, including Josh Windass and Michael Smith.<\/p>\n

The crisis at Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> boils down to financial problems under the ownership of Dejphon Chansiri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We previously understood three bidders were still trying to buy the Owls<\/a>,\u00a0but it remains to be seen if Chansiri is going to sell.<\/p>\n

Chansiri has set an \u2018unrealistic\u2019 price tag<\/a> for the club, and the takeover saga is expected to drag on.<\/p>\n

It means Championship relegation looks a lot more certain as the 2025\/26 season nears.<\/p>\n

With the Owls clearly struggling, Sheffield MPs have been writing letters to the owner to try and help sort out the situation.<\/p>\n

The Thai businessman, however, has sent back a clear and concerning response.<\/p>\n

According to MP Clive Betts, Chansiri responded to the letters by saying: \u201c\u201dAll of the Sheffield MP\u2019s wrote to him a few weeks ago and asked to meet him to discuss the situation. The answer that came back was, \u2018what has it got to do with you?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Dejphon Chansiri will not get what he wants<\/p>\n

Thai media have criticised Chansiri<\/a> recently and he could face criticism from his family if he makes a loss on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s understood that he has already turned down a $75m offer<\/a> from Adam Shaw\u2019s US-based consortium in 2025.<\/p>\n

But as mentioned above, there is no chance he will get anywhere close to his \u00a3100m asking price.<\/p>\n

The longer he keeps Sheffield Wednesday the more damage is being done with players leaving for free, having their contracts terminated or being sold to bring in some much-needed funds.<\/p>\n

The wise move would be to sell now, but if the takeover situation drags on for another season and they are relegated, their value will decrease even more.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
