\n\tThe production boasts a 45-strong cast, 66 backstage crew members, 650 costumes, and 700 lighting cues per performance. Having earned nine Olivier Awards and six Tony Awards among 60 major honors, the show has enchanted over two million West End patrons and 11 million globally.<\/p>\n

\n\tProducers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender celebrated the milestone, emphasizing London\u2019s \u201cunique theatrical experience.\u201d With five international productions currently running and a ninth launching in the Netherlands in 2026, the magical franchise continues expanding worldwide. <\/p>\n

\t\tFORMAT FLIES\t<\/p>\n

\n\tBanijay Entertainment<\/strong> is bringing adventure reality format \u201cShaolin Heroes<\/a>\u201d to France via M6<\/strong>, with Endemol France<\/strong> producing the fourth international adaptation. The format, originally created by Banijay Nordic\u2019s Metronome<\/strong>, follows seven celebrities mastering ancient Shaolin warrior monk disciplines under two masters\u2019 guidance.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show has proven successful internationally, surpassing TV2\u2019s primetime slot average by 31% in Denmark and launching strongly in Belgium and the Netherlands. \u201cIt\u2019s raw, emotional, and deeply inspiring; exactly the kind of content audiences are looking for today,\u201d says Jean-Louis Blot, CEO Endemol France. Lucas Green, Banijay\u2019s chief content officer, praised the format\u2019s \u201cuniversal themes of transformation and resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\t\tCONTENT CONVERGENCE\t<\/p>\n

\n\tBanijay Asia<\/strong> has partnered with Collective Artists Network<\/strong> to launch an Indian creator-driven content ecosystem. The collaboration will develop creator-first properties across scripted, unscripted, branded, and digital formats, spanning long-form shows to vertical social content.<\/p>\n

\n\tIndia\u2019s Vinod Chopra Films<\/strong> and multiplex chain and distributor PVR Inox<\/strong> are re-releasing \u201cParineeta\u201d on Aug. 29 across the country to celebrate the romantic drama\u2019s 20th anniversary. The film, directed by the late Pradeep Sarkar<\/strong> and starring Vidya Balan<\/a><\/strong>, Saif Ali Khan<\/strong>, and Sanjay Dutt<\/strong>, has been restored in 8K resolution with remastered 5.1 surround sound.<\/p>\n
