Former glamour model and Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> (CBB) star Alicia Douvall <\/a>has announced her engagement following a romantic getaway to the Maldives<\/a> with her boyfriend David Anstiss, she revealed on Thursday.<\/p>\n

In the early Noughties Alicia- whose real name is Sarah Howes – was known for her string of celebrity boyfriends and her constant cycle of cosmetic surgeries<\/a>. The star competed on the fifteenth series of CBB in 2015 which was aired on Channel 5<\/a>. She was the second housemate to be evicted on day 17, after receiving the fewest votes from the public.<\/p>\n

At the height of her fame Alicia enjoyed romances and did subsequent kiss and tell stories with the likes of Simon Cowell,<\/a> Mick Hucknall, P Diddy<\/a>, Mickey Rourke, and Dean Gaffney<\/a>. But she seems happier than ever with her now soon-to-be husband David Anstiss.<\/p>\n

Alicia first went public with her relationship with David, who is the director of Solution Engineering, on Valentine’s Day<\/a> this year by sharing a series of romantic snaps online. Just two months later they have taken their relationship to the next level.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, April 17 the 45-year-old, took to Instagram<\/a> to share the wonderful news with her followers. They looked smitten as they posed for pictures in their hotel room, shortly after he popped the big question. In the hotel room a line of red rose petals culd be seen leading to a bed strewn with more petals and a message that read: ‘She said yes’.<\/p>\n

Alicia looked beautiful in a black dress for the occasion while placing her ring-clad on her husband-to-be’s shoulder. In another snap, Alicia gave a closer look at her ring, holding up her manicured hand while the Indian Ocean was seen behind.<\/p>\n

Her fans took to the comments to offer their congratulations to the happy couple. One follower wrote: “That ring is a STUNNER! HUGE congratulations! Such lovely news!” While another wrote: “Congratulations! Such beautiful and wonderful news, you deserve this happiness.”<\/p>\n

Alicia has had more than 400 cosmetic procedures totalling to a self-estimated \u00a31 million, but the former glamour model has had a jaw-dropping metamorphosis in recent years.<\/p>\n

After 18 boob jobs, 11 nose tweaks, bum implants and even having her ribs shaved down Alicia gave up going under the knife and over the past decade has built a successful skincare brand, centered around the ethos of natural anti-aging. And all here hard work has paid off with the brand stocked in the likes of Sephora, and Superdrug in the UK and Walmart in the US.<\/p>\n
