However, Leeds United’s approach differs, as the Yorkshire club is prioritising an outright sale, with Silva is valued at €15 million.

This indicates Leeds’ clear intent to bring Silva to Elland Road permanently as they prepare for the upcoming season, potentially in the Premier League. Securing a player of Silva’s calibre would undoubtedly bolster Leeds’ squad, adding depth and quality as they aim to compete at the highest level.

MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES

Where would Jota Silva slot into the current Leeds United squad?

ota Silva would fit into Leeds United’s squad as a versatile attacker, primarily operating as a right winger, but also on the left wing and as a centre-forward, offering Daniel Farke significant tactical flexibility.

If he joins, he’d directly challenge for the starting right-wing spot against players like Dan James, and potentially Luis Sinisterra if he remains at the club. His ability to switch flanks means competition for Wilfried Gnonto on the left is also a possibility.

Centrally, he could provide a dynamic option alongside or in place of Joel Piroe or new signing Lukas Nmecha.

Last season, in the 2024/2025 Premier League campaign with Nottingham Forest, Silva featured in 31 matches, with 5 starts and 26 substitute appearances.

Across these 840 minutes, he registered 3 goals and 1 assist, highlighting his capacity to impact games even from the bench.
