Leeds are now in the running for another winger, after the headache of missing out on Igor Paixao.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier this week, he chose Marseille over Leeds, a decision Paixao may now come to regret<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The Yorkshire side have conducted plenty of business in this summer transfer window, with the likes of goalkeeper Lucas Perri joining the Peacocks<\/a>, and striker Lukas Nmecha who could be the next Patrick Bamford<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Leeds United have reportedly joined the race for Nottingham Forest\u2019s Jota Silva, setting up a potential transfer battle with Portuguese giants Sporting CP. <\/p>\n

The 25-year-old Portuguese international, currently with Forest, is attracting significant attention, though his current club has already signalled that negotiations will be challenging.<\/p>\n

According to Desporto ao Minuto<\/a>, Sporting CP is looking to secure Silva on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the 2025\/26 season. However, Leeds United\u2019s approach differs, as the Yorkshire club is prioritising an outright sale, with Silva is valued at \u20ac15 million. <\/p>\n

This indicates Leeds\u2019 clear intent to bring Silva to Elland Road<\/a> permanently as they prepare for the upcoming season, potentially in the Premier League. Securing a player of Silva\u2019s calibre would undoubtedly bolster Leeds\u2019 squad, adding depth and quality as they aim to compete at the highest level.<\/p>\n
