according to journalist Gianluigi Longari<\/a>, who reports that Luis could be back on the menu this summer.<\/p>\nRios has joined from Brazilian side Palmeiras after being linked with a move to Europe for the last 18 months or so.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s added competition to an already packed Benfica midfielder, which has also had Aston Villa\u2019s Enzo Barrenechea added to it this summer, and that could see Luis depart.<\/p>\n
And according to Longari he has a trio of Premier League suitors, with Burnley, Everton and Leeds all said to have come forward. He\u2019s also been offered to Serie A club in the past but it\u2019s the English three who\u2019ve made efforts in recent weeks.<\/p>\n
Now, we\u2019ll take this with a hefty dollop of doubt for the time being as Luis is a regular here at Sport Witness.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s been linked with a move to the Premier League continually for at least a year, perhaps more, without anything ever seemingly coming of it.<\/p>\n
Everton are long-term admirers, at least according to reports in Portugal over the last 12 months, and perhaps David Moyes\u2019 determination to start getting more transfer business done has revived that interest.<\/p>\n
Leeds and Burnley also need to strengthen but until there\u2019s anything concrete, and perhaps from Portugal, we\u2019ll be holding our horses back.<\/p>\n
