\n Inspectors confirmed that recruitment procedures met current legislation and that there was strong leadership and a focus on continuous improvement.\n<\/p>\n
\n Dental Elements provides both NHS and private dental care for adults and children.\n<\/p>\n
\n The practice is located at Unit 3, Liebig Court, Widnes Road, and has step-free access and parking, including spaces for disabled people.\n<\/p>\n
\n The practice has two treatment rooms and a team of six staff, including two dentists, two qualified dental nurses, one trainee dental nurse, and a practice manager who is also a qualified dental nurse.\n<\/p>\n
\n During the inspection, staff confirmed that patients\u2019 care and treatment followed current guidance.\n<\/p>\n
\n Patients were treated with dignity and respect and could access care and support when needed.\n<\/p>\n
\n However, inspectors noted that improvements were required to the systems for reviewing and investigating incidents and accidents.\n<\/p>\n
\n Feedback from patients was positive.\n<\/p>\n
\n Six patients shared their experiences before the inspection.\n<\/p>\n
\n One patient said: “This is an amazing dentist!! All the staff are so friendly and supportive.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I would recommend this dentist to anyone as they put people at ease and make you comfortable.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Another patient said: “Excellent staff.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Clean premises.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Always accommodate me and always friendly and professional.”\n<\/p>\n
\n A third patient said: “Best dentists we have ever had!!”\n<\/p>\n
\n Patients highlighted the cleanliness of the practice and said they were able to book appointments within a suitable timescale.\n<\/p>\n
\n They reported having enough time during their appointments and did not feel rushed.\n<\/p>\n
\n Patients also said they received clear information about their treatment and any costs involved, and felt involved in decisions about their care.\n<\/p>\n
\n When prescribed medicines, patients said they were given enough information.\n<\/p>\n
\n The practice reviews patient feedback with the team and takes action if suggestions are made.\n<\/p>\n
