{"id":306128,"date":"2025-07-31T08:29:11","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T08:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/306128\/"},"modified":"2025-07-31T08:29:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T08:29:11","slug":"greater-manchester-weather-this-weekend-as-met-office-issues-uk-yellow-warning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/306128\/","title":{"rendered":"Greater Manchester weather this weekend as Met Office issues UK yellow warning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Manchester will see some heavy rain over the weekend<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/0_Summer-weather-July-31st-2025.jpg\" loading=\"eager\"  \/>There will be heavy showers of rain on Sunday morning(Image: PA)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The weather across Greater Manchester this weekend will be bright and sunny with some spells of heavy rain on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Over the weekend, the weather in Greater Manchester will largely follow the trends of the week, with sunny spells and the occasional shower.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">On Saturday, the risk of showers across the country is minimal, while on Sunday, the heavy rain could reappear, particularly in the north west of England.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">It comes after a yellow warning for storms has been issued in the south of England on Thursday, with forecasters warning of up to 60mm of rain within two hours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Never miss a story with the MEN&#8217;s daily Catch Up newsletter &#8211; get it in your inbox by signing up <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/newsletter-preference-centre\/?view=Solus&amp;mailingListId=b8052254-66af-41f3-9dae-7bbb0e3391c6&amp;utm_source=solusarticle\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"hereLink opens in a new tab.\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The warning \u2013 which is in place from 10am until 9pm and covers areas such as Bristol, Southampton and Ipswich \u2013 could lead to significant public transport disruptions, road closures and power cuts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Greater Manchester is not covered by the weather warning, and Mancs will be able to enjoy temperatures of up to 21C on Saturday and no lower than 13C on either day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">There will be sunny intervals changing into cloudy conditions by night-time on Saturday;
