This was announced by Acting Director of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Sean Duffy in an interview with Fox News.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to him, in 2026 American astronauts will orbit the Moon but will not land on it. The landing will be carried out during Donald Trump&#8217;s term as head of state, that is, before January 2029.<\/p>\n<p>Duffy emphasized that a permanent American base will be established on the Moon.
