Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes<\/a> has singled out Ethan Williams and Patrick Dorgu <\/a>for praise following their 4-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League<\/a> Summer Series.<\/p>\n

Rasmus Hojlund <\/a>scored the opening goal inside eight minutes, while Dorgu doubled the lead before the break. Amad and Williams added to the scoreline in the second half, while Matthijs de Ligt <\/a>gifted the Cherries a consolation goal.<\/p>\n

Williams, who came on as a substitute, scored within two minutes of coming on. Initially, the United<\/a> winger wasn’t picked by Ruben Amorim <\/a>to join the squad in their pre-season tour to the US.<\/p>\n

Dorgu, on the other hand, played a total of 71 minutes before being substituted by Toby Collyer.<\/p>\n

After the game, Fernandes took to Instagram to praise both Williams and Dorgu. Sharing a photo of Williams from United’s official account to his story, the Portuguese wrote: “Well done kid,” followed by a clapping emoji.<\/p>\n

He then added, “What a game, beast,” tagging Dorgu along with another clapping emoji.<\/p>\n

During his press-conference, Amorim explained why United are a different team. “More than the results, it’s the way they are playing,” he stressed. “I think it’s really important. People cannot see that.<\/p>\n

“I think they are playing better also because they are connecting better with each other. Not just on the pitch, but off the pitch. I think they are stronger, they are faster. In this moment, of course, it’s a pre-season. But you can see the intensity is completely different. I can see the data from the minutes are completely different. So we are improving.<\/p>\n

“But again, it’s a pre-season game. The pressure is going to be so much different during the season. It’s important for them to understand that the same players can play a different game.<\/p>\n

“I think today was a good day. I’m really happy with the players that we had last season. They are improving. We look like a different team today. Let’s continue with that.”<\/p>\n
