{"id":306771,"date":"2025-07-31T14:20:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T14:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/306771\/"},"modified":"2025-07-31T14:20:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T14:20:10","slug":"subway-signs-at-whitchurch-asda-shop-rejected-as-distracting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/306771\/","title":{"rendered":"Subway signs at Whitchurch Asda shop rejected as &#8216;distracting&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The American fast food restaurant, which specialises in sandwiches and wraps, is based within Asda Express at the Wrexham Road site in Whitchurch.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A Greggs is also in the shop, while there is a McDonald\u2019s in the forecourt.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In its submission to Shropshire Council, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitchurchherald.co.uk\/news\/25136359.aldi-revealed-uks-cheapest-supermarket-april-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asda<\/a> said the proposal was to have two new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitchurchherald.co.uk\/news\/25262476.subway-banners-bid-whitchurch-service-station\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Subway banner frames<\/a> and two new PVC banners.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The banner frames in \u2018Subway green\u2019 would be 1.96 metres tall, four metres wide and bolted together using bolts and nuts.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The application also included printed PVC banners with eyelets.
