The Black Sabbath bench has become a focal point for the Black Sabbath frontman’s fans to gather and remember him, with a huge amount of flowers and tributes left<\/p>\n

Birmingham City Council has clarified rumours that the Ozzy shrine is to be dismantled.<\/p>\n

Flowers and tributes have amassed at the Black Sabbath bench on Broad Street<\/a>, where Ozzy’s wife Sharon and children paused with this funeral cortege on Wednesday (July 30) in emotional scenes.<\/p>\n

Thousands of fans lined the road cheering ‘Ozzy, Ozzy’ and ‘We love you Sharon’ as the Osbourne family laid flowers and acknowledged the crowds.<\/p>\n

After information appeared online stating the flowers were due to be removed, the council has clarified the situation.<\/p>\n

A spokesman told BirminghamLive the public still has the weekend to visit the shine, which has become a focal point, to pay their respects.<\/p>\n

They added that workers will be removing some of the dead flowers and giving the area a general tidy up on Friday.<\/p>\n

The Black Sabbath frontman, who died aged 76 on Tuesday, July 22, was buried today at his \u00a320m Buckinghamshire estate after a family service at a church in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, on Thursday (July 31).<\/p>\n

He was buried next to an ornamental lake on his estate, surrounded by family and close friends.<\/p>\n

After crashing yesterday due to the sheer number of people trying to see Black Sabbath Bridge from its year-round vantage point, the bench camera is back up and running and live-streaming.<\/p>\n

There is still a large number of people visiting to pay their respects, though a yellow security barrier has now been placed around the floral tributes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kelly Osbourne has reshared an emotional message on her Instagram story about her late father.<\/p>\n

The video, initially shared by Kevin Moran, saw him ask: “You want to know why Ozzy was so important?”<\/p>\n

He continues: “Look at your feed right now. Look at the fact, for the last 24 hours, there has been no politics. No left or right.<\/p>\n

“No them versus us, no us versus them.
