The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is giving millions of pensioners up to \u00a3300 this winter to help cover soaring heating bills. Around 9 million pensioners across the UK are due to receive the one off Winter Fuel payment later in the year, which will be automatically sent out to eligible individuals.<\/p>\n
Between November and December, anyone born before September 22, 1959, may receive a payment between \u00a3100 and \u00a3300, depending on their age and circumstances<\/a>.<\/p>\n Those under the age of 80 will receive \u00a3200, while those aged 80 and over will be granted \u00a3300.
