In fact, Liverpool would find that they would suffer a bigger blow than losing Diaz, were they to part with Konate now.<\/p>\n<p>Though the imposing Frenchman is partnered with Van Dijk, the skipper won&#8217;t be around forever, and Liverpool&#8217;s decision to have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/sport\/football\/articles\/cdjx2yzwz7ko#:~:text=Bayer%20Leverkusen%20have%20signed%20defender,in%20the%20final%20on%20Saturday.\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">sold Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen for \u00a335m<\/a> earlier in the window only highlights the desperate need for change.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.footballfancast.com\/fabrizio-romano-liverpool-could-now-offer-swap-deal-to-sign-marc-guehi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marc Guehi is wanted on Merseyside<\/a>, actually in his final year at Crystal Palace.
