Although BKFC is rapidly growing into one of the biggest promotions in combat sports, not everyone is a big fan of it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ever since Conor McGregor<\/a> became a part-owner of BKFC<\/a> in 2024, the promotion has seen substantial growth because of his constant marketing.<\/p>\n

Not only that but former UFC stars like Mike Perry<\/a>, Eddie Alvarez<\/a> and Chad Mendes<\/a> have all seen tremendous success in the promotion, seeing career resurgences.<\/p>\n

However, not everyone that has fought under the BKFC banner has sung its praises as former UFC<\/a> middleweight champion Luke Rockhold<\/a> has put the promotion on blast.<\/p>\n

After losing three UFC fights in a row ending with a war against Paulo Costa at UFC 278<\/a>, Rockhold followed several other UFC legends and took his talents to BKFC.<\/p>\n

The Californian took on the aforementioned \u2018Platinum\u2019 Perry at BKFC 41, in what was one of the biggest fights the promotion had put on to that point.<\/p>\n

Rockhold was brutally beaten by Perry and the fight was stopped in round two after Rockhold suffered horror injuries to his teeth.<\/p>\n

Since then, fans have been wondering whether the former UFC champion would return to BKFC after a few grappling and Karate Combat bouts, and he has now answered the question after he recently had a boxing fight against Darren Till<\/a> announced.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt couldn\u2019t be any worse than bare-knuckle boxing, I\u2019ll tell you that, I\u2019m pretty sure I hamstringed myself as hard as you can, this is different,\u201d Rockhold told MMAFighting.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne thing I would do that I think is way more bada\u2013 and not so f\u2014\u2014 stupid because you can\u2019t gauge distance in bare-knuckle boxing, I would do bare-knuckle kickboxing. I would rematch Mike Perry and put him to sleep.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no way to gauge distance in bare-knuckle boxing, they\u2019ve got metal ropes you just bounce in and out, bare-knuckle kickboxing is actually something with technique to it.<\/p>\n

\u201cBare-knuckle boxing is not a fight, I realised that when I walked in and I was like, I\u2019m not losing my f\u2014\u2014 teeth without using everything I\u2019ve worked for my whole life. That\u2019s a dumba\u2013 sport\u2026 Who\u2019s willing to lose their face for f\u2014\u2014 nothing?\u201d Rockhold continued.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Luke Rockhold is scheduled to box Darren Till in bizarre clash<\/p>\n

During their respective careers, Rockhold and Till were once considered as two of the biggest stars in the UFC. Of course Rockhold realized huge success by becoming the champion, but Till never reached highs he was expected to.<\/p>\n
