to rise next week as a mini heatwave could engulf parts of England.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" Thursday, August 7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/birmingham-weather\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">mercury <\/a>could reach at least 30C in 19 counties that could see <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/birmingham-weather\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">temperatures <\/a>of at least 30C that day: Lincolnshire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Kent, Greater London, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/worcestershire\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Worcestershire<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/birmingham-weather\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">weather <\/a>and drier and brighter weather.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">In its long-range forecast from August 5 to 14, the Met Office said: &#8220;An unseasonably deep area of low pressure clearing to the east, may bring widely windy and wet weather at first, especially for the north or northeast of the UK.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Following this will be a breezy but sunny day for most with a risk of showers in the north.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The forecast around this is rather uncertain, however, and it is also possible that it will clear more quickly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Following this, a continuation of the broadly changeable pattern is expected, with spells of rain or showers, some drier, brighter interludes and temperatures mainly near average.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">As we move towards mid-month, there is an increased chance of high pressure becoming more dominant, leading to drier, warmer and more settled conditions
