MEGHAN Markle has hit the ground running in 2025, launching a new podcast, a Netflix TV show and her lifestyle brand As Ever.<\/p>\n

However, royal experts have claimed that the Duchess of Sussex, <\/a>43, is struggling to find her target audience.<\/p>\n

GB News Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker pointed out on The Sun\u2019s Royal Exclusive<\/a> show that reviews of Meghan\u2019s podcast <\/a>– Confessions of a Female Founder<\/a> – and her With Love, Meghan <\/a>cooking<\/a> show have been \u201cpretty scathing.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWhat is the USP here?<\/p>\n

\u201cDoes it actually have a point to this or is it just because she is Meghan, Duchess of Sussex?\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough it was number 10 on Spotify<\/a>, this podcast, her Netflix series was also in the top 10.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo although the reviews are bad, people are still watching it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSo the question is going to be, are people watching it because they love to hate it or do they genuinely enjoy watching it or listening?\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Royal Correspondent Sarah Hewson said: \u201cI suppose the worst thing could be it being greeted with silence and just completely ignored.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo from that perspective, you know, it is doing something.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan has so far released two podcast episodes in her new series with female-founded Lemonada Media<\/a> – after her previous Archetypes podcast on Spotify.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The podcast<\/a> will feature eight episodes and focus on Meghan’s journey as an entrepreneur.<\/p>\n

Her guest stars have so far included Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd<\/a> and American lawyer and politician Reshma Saujani<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Sun\u2019s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson pointed out about the podcast: \u201cIt’s very US focused.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI think all her guests are mainly based in America so far.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I think the American media have mainly ignored it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m led to believe that it’s not really being picked up by the American media, which surely would be her target if she was moving into that sphere.”<\/p>\n

Meghan’s As Ever brand recently launched, including \u00a322 honeyCredit: instagram<\/p>\n

Cameron questioned: \u201cDoes that suggest then that the British audience, you know, are very much loving to hate Meghan and perhaps by extension Harry, and the US just don’t care anymore?\u201d<\/p>\n

Sarah added: “if America isn’t buying into this brand, then they’ve got a problem.”<\/p>\n

Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan announced they were stepping back from official public duties on January 8, 2020 and they now live in a \u00a312million Montecito<\/a> mansion.<\/p>\n

Last episode, Meghan bravely opened up about her miscarriage<\/a> and said she “learned to detach”.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Reshma, she said: \u201cI’ll bring this up if you are comfortable talking about it.<\/p>\n

“I know you’ve spoken publicly about as you were doing Girl’s Who Code, all the personal things that were happening for you at that time.<\/p>\n

“And the miscarriages that you’ve experienced. I’ve spoken about the miscarriage that we experienced.<\/p>\n

“And I think in some parallel way when you have to learn to detach from the thing that you have so much promise and hope for.<\/p>\n

“And to be able to be okay at a certain point to let something go that you plan to love for a long time.”<\/p>\n

In her first episode of her new podcast, Meghan spoke about the challenges of running her new As Ever brand<\/a>, which sold out in under one hour,<\/a> while raising a family with Prince Harry, 40.<\/p>\n
