Jason Manford<\/a> has told fans he ‘collapsed’ while waiting to be seen in the hospital, having had to cancel a number of his tour dates<\/a> after falling ill.<\/p>\n Earlier this week, in a statement posted to the comedian’s social media channels, his representatives confirmed three dates over the next three days have been rescheduled.<\/p>\n The statement, posted to Jason’s Instagram and Facebook pages, read: “We regret to inform you that the following performances of A Manford All Seasons have been unexpectedly cancelled due to Jason Manford being unwell.<\/p>\n “Oxford, New Theatre will move from 31st July 2025 to the 16th November 2025. Lincoln, The Engine Shed will move from 1st August 2025 to the 7th September 2025. Skegness, Embassy Hall will move from the 2nd August to the 15th February 2026.<\/p>\n “Should you be unable to attend the rescheduled performance you will have the option to request a refund. Please hold onto your tickets. The venue or your point of purchase will be in touch with further details.<\/p>\n “Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”<\/p>\n The news sparked concern but Jason has since returned to social media to share the truth about his ill health, revealing he’d undergone appendix surgery.<\/p>\n Alongside a picture of him recovering from his op in his hospital bed, the Salford-born star shared: “Appendix surgery all went well, now in recovery with my Vimto, they serve it in all Manchester hospitals<\/p>\n “Bit of a scary & extremely painful 24 hours but thankful to our NHS & my incredible nurse mum who\u2019s a godsend in a health crisis! My advice would be to not get Appendicitis whilst driving at 70mph on the motorway!<\/p>\n “Seriously though, I\u2019m gutted that I\u2019ve had to move the dates this weekend, and I\u2019m sorry for the late notice to so many people in St Albans, Oxford, Lincoln, Skegness & at Kendall Calling. I thought I could get by on antibiotics and surgery at a later date so I could still do the shows, but was advised not to.<\/p>\n “Also means I can\u2019t fly out to Portugal on Monday to join my family on holiday! Ah well, such is life. Thanks for all the \u2018Get Well Soon\u2019 messages.”<\/p>\n More well wishes then came flooding in and it was as one said: “Get well soon @jasonmanford, funny how quick it can hit you, you were in flying form in Drogheda last Thursday, mind yourself,” that Jason shared more details.<\/p>\n He replied: “I was literally filming stuff until 2pm yesterday and 3pm it hit me by 5 I had collapsed on the hospital waiting room floor!
