The announcement of the new date comes as the festival sponsor, Bavarian brewer ABK, revealed it has chosen Liverpool to showcase its Oktoberfest beer which will be available alongside traditional festival favourites.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">More live entertainment and extra fairground rides have also been added to the celebration of Bavarian culture which takes place on Saturday, October 4 at the city\u2019s exhibition centre on the waterfront. Kev McArthur from Oktoberfest Liverpool said: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled that ABK has again chosen to partner with us to host this year\u2019s event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cWith more VIP huts, a live oompah band and DJ, a wider range of drinks and snacks as well as host Kam Wojtow from Beer Guide Worldwide, this year\u2019s show is set to be our best yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Lucy Slater from ABK said: &#8220;We have a great relationship with the city and look forward to being part of what has become a key date in the calendar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cWe\u2019re also offering anyone who buys a ticket for the event an opportunity to win a trip for three to Germany, including a tour of the ABK brewery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/0_FUG04439.jpg\" alt=\"A new date has been added to the Oktoberfest Liverpool beer festival ahead of the &quot;best event yet&quot;\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>A new date has been added to the Oktoberfest Liverpool beer festival ahead of the &#8220;best event yet&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Colm Graham, is the head of partnerships, hospitality and exhibition sales at ACC Liverpool. He said: \u201cWith hundreds of tickets already sold, we\u2019re looking forward to welcoming back previous festival-goers but also hosting people who may never have visited the Exhibition Centre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThis is the perfect event in a safe, climate-controlled environment for couples and groups to enjoy everything a traditional German bier festival has to offer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cSo, it\u2019s time to dust off the lederhosen and get in to the Bavarian spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The event will be split into two sessions, both taking place on Saturday, October 4. The first session takes place from 12pm-5pm and the second session takes place from 6pm-11pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Tickets are priced from \u00a313.50 with VIP huts for eight people priced at \u00a3495. Tickets available <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ticketquarter.co.uk\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Last year, the ECHO&#8217;s Megan Banner attended Oktoberfest and said she <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/spent-16-day-out-liverpool-30186236\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;couldn&#8217;t recommend it enough.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/spent-16-day-out-liverpool-30186236\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Megan wrote<\/a>: &#8220;There was a live band on the stage playing instrumental versions of all the classics as people laughed, chatted and sang along. I loved it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;First port of call was the bar, two steins of lager for \u00a318 was not bad at all in my opinion, and then we found a seat nestled in between all the hen and stag parties that the event had seemed to attract.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;For me, one of my favourite things about the night was how many different people were there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;I was chatting to people who\u2019d travelled from the north east just to come to the festival on a stag weekend.
