The featured match today is Coco Gauff versus Ella Seidel. Do you think I picked the right bets? Has my work been of any help to you? Please let me know in the comment section if you’ve cashed out big on my advice.

WTA Stuttgart Open Round of 16
Gauff – Seidel: Time 18:30

H2H: 0-0

Coco Gauff and Ella Seidel meet for the first time in their careers at Stuttgart. Seidel is coming in hot off the upset of Tatiana Maria, while Gauff is coming off a loss in the Round of 16 at Miami. Neither lady is playing well right now. Gauff is 5-5 in her last ten, Seidel is 4-6 in the same span of matches. Gauff began 2025 on fire, but her current woes have brought her back down to reality. A win for Gauff would get her back on track, but a win for Seidel could help restore her confidence.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Gauff being a large favorite, and I agree. Gauff is playing electrifying tennis right now, and Seidel is standing in the way of her making a deep run for the first time since Australia. If you think there’s a chance that Seidel continues her winning ways, then you’ll be happy to know you can bring home a sizeable pot should she become victorious. She’s available for 5.25 at several outfits, so it might not be the worst idea to place a throwaway on this one, see what shakes out.

That being said, Seidel winning is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Seidel winning @5.25 @Unibet

Andreeva – Alexandrova: Time 12:30

H2H: 0-0

Mirra Andreeva and Ekaterina Alexandrova will meet for the first time at Stuttgart. Andreeva is fresh off a thumping of her sister, who chose to retire after getting her in the second game of the second set, with Mirra already up 6-2. Alexandrova has a sneaky good record for only being 5-5 in her last ten matches, given that she has two semifinal appearances during that same stretch of matches.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Andreeva winning, and I disagree. Andreeva may be 9-1 in her last ten matches, with two tournament victories, but dominance rarely lasts, and Alexandrova is the exact type of opponent that someone would underestimate after playing an emotional match the day before with your very sister. I can’t explain why, but I feel like this one is going to sneak up on Andreeva, and the line on Alexandrova is going to make someone’s day.

That being said, Alexandrova winning is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Alexandrova winning @3.55 @Pinnacle

Niemeier – Paolini: Time 14:00

H2H: 0-2

Jule Niemeier and Jasmine Paolini will play for the third time in their careers, with Paolini taking both of the previous matches. That said, the one match they did play on clay went three sets in a very spirited affair at Parma in 2022. Niemeier is 146-73 on clay, basically 2:1 with wins and losses. Paolini is 222-121 on clay, so neither lady is a slouch on the surface.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Jasmine Paolini as a heavy favorite, and I am very cautiously on board. I also think Niemeier is capable of the upsets, and I am very tempted to pick her outright. There’s something about this match that suggests looking past Niemeier’s 3-7 performance in her last ten matches because she’s such a good clay player. Play this one however you want, but I’m not gonna be surprised if Niemeier beats her.

That being said, Niemeier to win is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Niemeier winning @6.25 @Unibet

Main Photo Credit: Mike Frey-USA TODAY Sports

The WTA Stuttgart Open action continues, and the matches only improve.
