Prince Harry<\/a> reportedly wants his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to receive a British education \u2014 continuing Royal tradition despite their California upbringing.<\/a><\/p>\n The Duke of Sussex, 40, has been raising Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, with wife Meghan Markle<\/a> in Montecito since stepping back from Royal duties in 2020. However, a former palace insider says Harry remains “quite keen” for his kids to pursue their studies in the U.K. someday.<\/p>\n Grant Harrold, former personal butler to King Charles, told the NY Post<\/a>, “Time will tell, but I’d like to think that they would get a bit of education here because royals normally do some gap year somewhere.<\/a><\/p>\n READ MORE: Karoline Leavitt debuts drastic new look as she ditches signature accessory<\/a>READ MORE: Jack Osbourne’s 10 words of comfort to Kelly revealed by lipreader as he shares what Ozzy wanted<\/a><\/p>\n “The king famously went to Australia, so it is possible that coming to the U.K. could be part of that for Archie or Lilibet.”<\/p>\n Nevertheless, the likelihood of the Sussex children attending school in Britain appears remote \u2014 particularly after Harry and \u201cSuits\u201d alum, Meghan, 43, lost their legal battle earlier this year to secure taxpayer-funded security.<\/p>\n Even still, Grant, who worked for Charles for seven years, believes the possibility of British schooling\u2014whether boarding school or university\u2014might remain available depending on future Royal relationships.<\/p>\n And with recent so-called peace talks between reps from both camps last month, it could well mean that a royal reconciliation could eventually take place, laying the groundwork for the option of British schooling.<\/p>\n Currently, William<\/a> and Kate’s<\/a> children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis \u2014 attend Lambrook School in Berkshire, which sits near their Adelaide Cottage home.<\/p>\n George, 12, is anticipated to begin at the $82,000-per-year Eton College in September after touring other London institutions, including Highgate.<\/p>\n William, the heir to the throne, had a great experience at the school, but Harry, 40, detailed a completely different experience in his bombshell 2023 memoir, \u201cSpare.\u201d<\/p>\n The former working royal admitted he struggled with poor grades when he attended. His disappointing academic experience prompted him to skip university and head straight to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.<\/p>\n Charlotte is reportedly considering Marlborough College, where her mother, the Princess of Wales, studied before meeting Prince William at St Andrews.<\/p>\n Marlborough College, also attended by Princess Eugenie and Pippa Middleton, was always a strong frontrunner for both children, including Prince Louis, who is 7.<\/p>\n However, all three children may not follow the same path. “We may find that George, Charlotte, and Louis might not all go to university. They may go straight to somewhere like Sandhurst,” Grant said.<\/p>\n “Especially for George, it is seen as crucial for future kings to have had some sort of military training, so you can guarantee that George, whether he likes it or not, will have to go through that military training.<\/p>\n “Both William and Charles had military training.
