A main road in Salford has been shut off tonight after a crash.<\/p>\n

It happened on Lumns Lane in Clifton at around 5pm this evening (Friday).<\/p>\n

A cordon is currently in place close to where the road becomes Rake Lane.<\/p>\n

The road has been blocked off with cones and police vehicles parked across it<\/p>\n

The Manchester Evening News understands there has been a collision involving two vehicles.<\/p>\n

It is not yet known if anybody has been seriously injured and no further details have been disclosed.<\/p>\n
