\n West Midlands Fire Service said a fire engine was sent to Spies Lane from Woodgate Valley shortly after\u00a010pm on Thursday (July 31).\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n A car had collided with a bus stop and one male casualty freed himself from the vehicle.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n West Midlands Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the scene.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: “Shortly after 10pm on Thursday\u00a0(July 31), a fire engine from Woodgate Valley responded to Spies Lane, Halesowen.\n<\/p>\n
\n “A car had come into collision with a bus stop, coming to rest on all four wheels. A male casualty freed himself from the vehicle and received a precautionary check from paramedics at the scene.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Firefighters cleared debris from the road and handed the scene over to\u00a0police and highways colleagues. We left the incident at 10.50pm.”\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 10.30pm on Thursday to a road traffic collision involving one car on Spies Lane, Quinton in Halesowen.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Upon arrival, we found a man who was the driver of the car. He was assessed by ambulance staff and was in a potentially serious condition. He received treatment at the scene and declined further treatment.\n<\/p>\n
\n “He received self-care advice before being discharged at the scene.”\n<\/p>\n
