The best-selling album of the week on vinyl, Pretty On The Internet tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart<\/a>, it\u2019s also the most-downloaded album of the week too and the best seller in UK independent record shops, Number 1 on the Official Record Store Chart<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to Official Charts, The K’s say:<\/p>\n

“It feels amazing to have our first ever Official Number 1. It was a lot of work – we’ve put a lot of time, tears and blood into this. We’re absolutely buzzing, we’re made up!”<\/p>\n

The band will celebrate their chart-topping success with a performance at Kendal Calling<\/a> festival tonight.<\/p>\n

The band say: “Kendal Calling was the first festival we ever played in 2018, on the Woodlands stage. Seven years later, we’re back on the main stage, which is mad.”<\/p>\n

As Oasis<\/a> prepare for their fourth and fifth gigs at London’s Wembley Stadium this weekend, the Gallagher brothers scoop the UK\u2019s most-streamed album of the week with Time Flies\u2026 1994-2009<\/a> (2), while (What\u2019s The Story) Morning Glory?<\/a> (3) complete the Top 3 and Definitely Maybe<\/a> (6) remains in the Top 10.<\/p>\n

The Modfather Paul Weller<\/a> posts his 24th solo Top 10 album as a solo artist with Find El Dorado<\/a> (5).<\/p>\n

Rock royalty Alice Cooper<\/a> notch their ninth Top 10 album with The Revenge Of Alice Cooper<\/a> (9). It’s the first new studio set in 50 years from the original Alice Cooper group, comprising Alice Cooper (vocals), Michael Bruce (guitar), Dennis Dunaway (bass), Neal Smith (drums), and Glen Buxton (guitar).<\/p>\n

Aussie multihyphenate Tim Minchin<\/a> scores a career-best with Time Machine<\/a> (11). It becomes his second Top 40 album, following 2020 lockdown LP Apart Together<\/a> (27).<\/p>\n

In the week that metal legend Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> was laid to rest following a funeral cortege through his beloved Birmingham, interest in his back catalogue continues to soar. Black Sabbath<\/a>‘s 2016 compilation album The Ultimate Collection<\/a> climbs to its highest ever position (14), and their chart-topping 1970 album Paranoid<\/a> returns to the Top 40 for the first time in 45 years (38).<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ozzy’s solo compilation Memoirs of a Madman<\/a> returns to the Top 40 (32) for the first time since its 2014 release.<\/p>\n

Queen of pop Madonna<\/a> notches her 26th Top 40 album this week with Veronica Electronica<\/a> (23), a remix album featuring rare material from her iconic Ray of Light era.<\/p>\n

Alfredo 2<\/a> \u2013 the second collaborative project from Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs and Californian producer The Alchemist \u2013 provides the pair with their first UK chart entry as a duo (28).<\/p>\n

And finally, synth-pop pioneer Gary Numan<\/a> celebrates the 17th Top 40 album of his career with live document A Perfect Circle<\/a> (34).<\/p>\n
