Sheffield United are not willing to sanction Kieffer Moore\u2019s move to Wrexham until they have finalised a replacement for the striker. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Red Dragons<\/a> are looking to strengthen following their third successive promotion, as they now look to make their mark in the Championship.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret that they are tracking Moore, with the Welsh international on their radar<\/a> as they value his experience and ability at this level.<\/p>\n

It appears the 32-year-old is a priority for Wrexham, with recent reports stating they would pay up to \u00a34m<\/a> for the target man, as well as exceeding his wages, which are rumoured to be around \u00a330,000 a week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, it would be a significant outlay for the club, so it\u2019s natural that Wrexham<\/a> want to close this as soon as possible, with the Championship opener against Southampton in eight days time.<\/p>\n\n

However, in a fresh development, journalist Alan Nixon has revealed that the move is on hold for now<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Even though a fee is agreed, and personal terms with Moore are sorted, the update states<\/a> that the Blades aren\u2019t willing to sign off on the transfer until they have a new striker through the door, amid links to former player Oli McBurnie.<\/p>\n

Some will feel it\u2019s a big investment for someone of Moore\u2019s age, but his physicality and experience mean he will help the team in the short-term, and he could be ideally suited to Parkinson\u2019s style of play as he can bring others into play and is good with his back to goal.<\/p>\n
