I can just exercise and be present.&#8217; <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"7\" class=\"css-qrfdb emevuu60\">He also told Train, &#8216;When I was younger \u2013 especially when I was bouncing \u2013 it was about being as big as possible and it was about looking formidable. Now I\u2019m much more focused on hitting every part of my body and my fitness in general. Often, I adjust my training for each role, and on Furious 7 I did a lot of jiu-jitsu, which really helped my fitness in general and stamina and agility.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"9\" class=\"css-qrfdb emevuu60\">That&#8217;s not to say that he has slowed down on the intensity, however. &#8216;I shock the muscle with two sets of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/building-muscle\/a63321218\/powerlifting-gen-z-trend\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/building-muscle\/a63321218\/powerlifting-gen-z-trend\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"powerlifting\" data-node-id=\"9.1\" class=\"body-link css-1d8p8n5 emevuu60\" rel=\"noopener\">powerlifting<\/a> and then go into higher-rep sets afterwards,&#8217; he told Men&#8217;s Health in 2017. While he completes regular exercises in the gym, part of shocking the muscle involves <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/building-muscle\/train-smarter\/a61173020\/supersets\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/building-muscle\/train-smarter\/a61173020\/supersets\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"supersets\" data-node-id=\"9.5\" class=\"body-link css-1d8p8n5 emevuu60\" rel=\"noopener\">supersets<\/a> and regularly changing up his training plan so that he doesn&#8217;t get used to a routine. <\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"10\" class=\"css-qrfdb emevuu60\">&#8216;Generally, week-to-week there\u2019s a mix of weight training, jiu-jitsu, running around after my kids, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/building-muscle\/a759641\/complete-guide-to-calisthenics-everything-you-need-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-vars-ga-outbound-link=\"https:\/\/www.menshealth.com\/uk\/building-muscle\/a759641\/complete-guide-to-calisthenics-everything-you-need-to-know\/\" data-vars-ga-ux-element=\"Hyperlink\" data-vars-ga-call-to-action=\"calisthenics\" data-node-id=\"10.1\" class=\"body-link css-1d8p8n5 emevuu60\" rel=\"noopener\">calisthenics<\/a>, Pilates and yoga, and free running training,&#8217; Diesel explained. &#8216;When it comes to weight training, I do a lot of different things. I don\u2019t want them to look boxy.
