Manchester United<\/a> captain Bruno Fernandes<\/a> has received an approach to join Saudi Pro League<\/a> side Al-Nassr, according to reports in Portugal.<\/p>\n Earlier this summer, Fernandes rejected a lucrative offer to join Al-Hilal with the Saudi side willing to pay the midfielder a contract worth \u00a3200 million over three seasons<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2018There was an opportunity,\u2019 Fernandes said in June.<\/p>\n \u2018The [Al-Hilal] president called me and asked if I wanted to go there. They were waiting for me. I spoke to coach [Ruben] Amorim. He asked me not to go.<\/p>\n \u2018Manchester United didn\u2019t want to sell me. They don\u2019t need the money. If I had wanted to leave, they would have made it happen.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on Manchester United every day\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s Football Newsletter. <\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your team in the link so we can send you football news tailored to you. <\/p>\n However, A Bola<\/a> reports that Al-Nassr have now made an attempt to sign Fernandes by approaching the 30-year-old this week.<\/p>\n \t\t The report claims that Al-Nassr\u2019s new head coach, Jorge Jesus, is personally driving the club\u2019s push to sign Fernandes having managed the midfielder for one season at Sporting CP.<\/p>\n Al-Nassr are said to feel that the presence of Jorge Jesus, as well as his Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, will be enough to convince Fernandes to make the move to the Saudi Pro League.<\/p>\n Earlier this week, Al-Nassr also secured a \u00a343.7m (\u20ac50m) deal to sign Portuguese forward Joao Felix from Chelsea.<\/p>\n \t\t Fernandes is currently with United\u2019s squad as they prepare for the final game of their pre-season tour of the United States against Everton on Sunday.<\/p>\n Speaking before the end of last season, Fernandes conceded that he could be sold by United in the summer transfer window<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2018I will be here until the club tells me it is time to leave,\u2019 Fernandes said.<\/p>\n \u2018I am available to make the club have great days again.
