Princess Kate<\/a> is reportedly keen that Prince George<\/a>, Princess Charlotte<\/a> and Prince Louis<\/a> have very limited screen time – even during the summer holidays. Having noted it as a key factor in her cancer recovery, Princess Kate is said to be keen for her children to have lots of “outdoor play” and be amongst nature<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking about how George, 12, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, seven, will likely spend their summer holidays<\/a>, author Louise Heren previously told the Independent: “There will be lots and lots of outdoor play. Lots of bike rides, playing with their dogs [and] potentially some gardening… if it is tipping it down, they will still go out.”<\/p>\n

Kate, 43, previously spoke to Giovannia Fletcher’s podcast ‘Happy Mum, Happy Baby’ in 2020 about her life as a mum to George, Charlotte and Louis.<\/p>\n

She told Giovannia, who is a mother to three boys: “I’m happy when I’m with my family outside in the countryside and we’re all filthy dirty.”<\/p>\n

Kate continued: “As children, we spent a lot of time outside, and it\u2019s something I\u2019m really passionate about. I think it\u2019s so great for physical and mental wellbeing and laying foundations. It\u2019s such a great environment to spend time in, building those quality relationships without the distractions of ‘I’ve got to cook’ and ‘I’ve got to do this.’ And actually, it\u2019s so simple.<\/p>\n

“That\u2019s what I would want them to remember,” she added. “Those moments with me as a mother, but also the family going to the beach, getting soaking wet, filling our boots full of water, those are what I would want them to remember.<\/p>\n

“Not a stressful household where you\u2019re trying to do everything and not really succeeding at one thing.”<\/p>\n

Back in May, a few months after sharing that she was in remission after her cancer diagnosis last year, Kate launched a new video series<\/a>, where she revealed how she embraced \u201cthe healing power of nature\u201d during her treatment.<\/p>\n

She urged society to \u201creconnect to nature and celebrate a new dawn within our hearts\u201d in the first of a series of films celebrating the seasons.<\/p>\n
