Although both men are now past their best as they edge ever closer to 40, there is still great intrigue in what would happen were they to meet.<\/p>\n<p>Both are former world champions who have been undone twice each by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondsout.com\/topic\/oleksandr-usyk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oleksandr Usyk<\/a>, who is now the first-ever two-time undisputed champion in the heavyweight division during the four-belt era.<\/p>\n<p>Fury retired after the second loss in December but has recently been talking up a trilogy with Usyk in 2026 and has been seen back in the ring training recently.<\/p>\n<p>Former cruiserweight world champion Bellew has been vocal about the potential Fury vs. Joshua match-up in the past, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iEDAuiSwqas&amp;t=1308s\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">speaking to SportingTalk,<\/a> \u2018The Bomber\u2019 changed his mind on how a clash between the two might go.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve always thought Anthony Joshua would stop Tyson Fury but I can\u2019t keep making that statement now because you have to base it on your last performance and \u2018AJ\u2019s last performance, I still can\u2019t get my head round how Daniel Dubois beat him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe just came out and put it on him and he walked right through him. If \u2018AJ\u2019 had have met him head on, he\u2019s better in every department. The biggest thing for Anthony Joshua is himself. If Anthony Joshua comes out and lets his hands go, he\u2019s the second best heavyweight the world.
