Emmerdale<\/a> has revealed Dylan Penders<\/a>‘s surprising ally in an emotional new clip, amid his recent return to the village. <\/p>\n

This week’s episodes saw Dylan back in the Dales following a four-month absence, with the figure having spent some time in rehab. The teenager was discovered hiding in the bushes at the graveyard by his friend April Windsor, with the pair happily reuniting.<\/p>\n

However, this wasn’t Dylan’s first appearance since his return, as he had broken into Butler’s Farm earlier in the week<\/a>. During the incident, a masked Dylan was stabbed with a pitchfork by Kyle Winchester, leaving him with a nasty wound. <\/p>\n

In scenes that will air next Monday (4 August), April is horrified when she sees the extent of Dylan’s leg injury<\/a>. Dylan refuses to go a doctor so April takes him to the vets where Paddy Dingle discreetly patches him up.<\/p>\n

In the newly-released clip, Paddy comes to the kids’ rescue as he hands over some antibiotics, leftover from his recent dog attack. He instructs Dylan on how to take the medication but urges him to seek proper help. <\/p>\n

April informs Paddy that Dylan is sleeping rough<\/a> at the cricket pavilion, adding that he doesn’t have any family to lean on. Paddy explains that he’s done all he can to help, but as he watches Dylan limp away, he decides to offer him some refuge. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a second clip has teased trouble for Ross Barton ahead of his upcoming reunion with Steph Miligan<\/a>. Next week’s episodes will see the pair rekindling their romance – with a little help from Ross’ half-brother Lewis.<\/p>\n
