Despite being at different stages of their respective careers, Terence Crawford<\/a> and Jaron Ennis<\/a>, fans will always wonder how a match-up between the two would play out.<\/p>\n

\u2018Bud\u2019 Crawford has already won world titles across four weight classes, including the undisputed championship at super-lightweight and welterweight. The 37-year-old from Omaha remains unbeaten as a professional since his debut back in 2008, defeating the likes of Errol Spence Jr, Shawn Porter and Israil Madrimov.<\/p>\n

As for \u2018Boots\u2019, the 28-year-old from Philadelphia also boasts an unbeaten professional record. He became the unified WBA and IBF world welterweight champion with a victory over Lithuania\u2019s Eimantas Stanionis back in April but recently vacated his titles after it was announced that he would be making the move up to 154lbs.<\/a><\/p>\n

One man that has shared the ring with Crawford and Ennis is former WBA regular welterweight champion David Avanesyan, who has suffered stoppage defeats to both fighters.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Boxing Scene<\/a>, Avanesyan\u2019s trainer Carl Greaves revealed details of a conversation that he had with his fighter, where he admits that Crawford actually hits harder than \u2018Boots\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that Crawford is a heavier handed fighter. I was talking to David and he said that Crawford hits harder but that \u2018Boots\u2019 Ennis was a bit sharper and busier. Then you take into consideration that when David fought Crawford, the whole six rounds he was in there with him he had dodgy gloves. When he [Avanesyan] came out of the ring afterwards he said he\u2019d never had pain or lumps on his head like it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2018Bud\u2019 is just weeks away from his highly anticipated \u2018mega-fight\u2019 with Canelo Alvarez,<\/a> as he steps up to 168lbs to challenge for the Mexican\u2019s undisputed super-middleweight championship on September 13.<\/p>\n
