Manchester United transfer target Benjamin Sesko<\/a> has been left out of RB Leipzig’s squad for this afternoon’s friendly against Atalanta – according to reports. The Slovenian is at the centre of a tug-of-war between Ruben Amorim’s side and Premier League<\/a> rivals Newcastle United.<\/p>\n According to Sky Sports Germany journalist, Florian Plettenberg, Sesko has already told his RB Leipzig teammates that he will be leaving the Bundesliga club in the midst interest from England. In the report, it is claimed that both United and the Magpies are pushing to sign him.<\/p>\n ChronicleLive <\/a>and multiple outlets reported on Saturday that a bid worth \u00a365.5million has been made for Sesko from Newcastle for the frontman – who has 41 international caps to his name.<\/p>\n Eddie Howe’s side have already missed out on a number of targets this summer – including Bryan Mbeumo – who completed a move to Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sesko’s purported omission signals the latest development in a bubbling saga<\/a> surrounding the 22-year-old.<\/p>\n In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Plettenberg wrote: “Benjamin #Sesko is not in the squad for RB Leipzig’s friendly against Atalanta Bergamo today.
