A new book by Andrew Lownie claimed that Prince Andrew and Harry had a heated argument in 2013 at a family gathering over something “Andrew said behind Harry’s back.”\"Prince<\/p>\n

A new book has revealed that Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, had a heated argument with Prince Harry at a family gathering in 2013 in which \u201cpunches were thrown”.<\/p>\n

The book, called Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, claimed that the two princes got into a physical fight years ago over \u201csomething Andrew said behind Harry\u2019s back”. The book\u2019s author, Andrew Lownie, shed light on the \u201cproblematic” relationship between the Duke of York and his nephews, William and Harry.<\/p>\n

Excerpts quoted by The Telegraph claimed that Harry \u201cgot the better of Andrew by all accounts” during the alleged fight and left his uncle with a \u201cbloody nose” before the fight was broken up.<\/p>\n

Prince Andrew, King Charles\u2019 younger brother, who fell from grace over his links to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is believed to have told Harry that his marriage to Meghan Markle would not \u201clast more than a month”.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, he allegedly accused his nephew of going \u201cbonkers” and not doing \u201cany due diligence into her past” before the pair married in 2018. The source quoted in Lownie\u2019s book claimed that Harry later told his brother William that \u201che hated Andrew”.<\/p>\n

\u2018Tensions For Years\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tensions have persisted between the uncle-nephew duo for years, including instances where Andrew is believed to have been openly rude to Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, claims the book.<\/p>\n

\u201cWilliam has long worked behind the scenes to evict his uncle from Royal Lodge, the home he occupies in Windsor Great Park. He thinks Andrew is abusing the property and his privilege there,” Lownie wrote.<\/p>\n

Andrew has been facing the threat of eviction from the 30-room property after the King severed his allowance, estimated to be worth \u00a31m annually, last year, according to The Telegraph. A source in Lownie\u2019s book claimed that the Prince of Wales is keen to \u201cevict” Andrew and his wife from the lavish estate.<\/p>\n

These revelations came after Harry revealed in his memoir, Spare, that he got into a physical fight with his elder brother over his relationship with Meghan Markle. He claimed that Prince William shoved him to the floor in a physical altercation at Kensington Palace in 2019, when he confronted him over Markle\u2019s \u201crude” and \u201cabrasive” behaviour.<\/p>\n
