{"id":312516,"date":"2025-08-02T18:00:38","date_gmt":"2025-08-02T18:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/312516\/"},"modified":"2025-08-02T18:00:38","modified_gmt":"2025-08-02T18:00:38","slug":"octopus-energy-gives-free-kits-to-almondsbury-footballers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/312516\/","title":{"rendered":"Octopus Energy gives free kits to Almondsbury footballers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  This comes as part of a national campaign by Octopus Energy.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The energy supplier has joined forces with The Sun to provide 1,000 kits to 100 teams across the country, regardless of whether they are Octopus customers.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Teams can apply for the free kits until July 31 at www.thesun.co.uk\/octopuskits.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The selected teams will be able to choose from 13 different kit designs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  As part of their ongoing Octopus Kits for Kids campaign, Octopus Energy has already donated kits to several clubs, including Almondsbury Utd FC under-11s.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Matthew Jackson, coach at Almondsbury Utd FC, said: &#8220;The free Almondsbury Utd kit is a dream come true.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;The vibrant colour is eye-catching and the quality is top-notch.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;The kids love it and they all feel like they\u2019ve won a competition.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Lana-Jane Roberts, a player with the under-11s, said: &#8220;I really feel it makes us look like a professional team.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Thank you so much for choosing us.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"This comes as part of a national campaign by Octopus Energy.
