Leeds United\u2019s forward line has only had Lukas Nmecha added to it thus far in the transfer market, in spite of seven new faces coming in.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Farke<\/a> had Manor Solomon<\/a> last season but his replacement \u2014 it could be argued \u2014 is Jack Harrison. In terms of numbers out wide, Leeds United<\/a> therefore have four wingers.<\/p>\n

But Solomon rejoining after a successful loan spell has not materialised, with it looking less likely by the day that Leeds are interested in resigning the 26-year-old Tottenham Hotspur winger.<\/p>\n

Solomon\u2019s social media post appeared to be a Leeds farewell<\/a> previously as it was claimed Thomas Frank wanted to assess Solomon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Even with all that talk, there are still reports that Leeds remain interested in signing Solomon permanently<\/a> this summer. However, it appears as though\u00a0Solomon has informed Tottenham he wants a second chance<\/a>\u00a0at the club.<\/p>\n

Initial reports suggested that\u00a0a fee between \u00a315 million and \u00a320 million would sign Solomon<\/a>. The recent reports state Solomon will cost just shy of \u00a320 million<\/a>, if he doesn\u2019t remain in north London for the 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n

But current indications do not point towards him returning. Farke spoke after Leeds played against Villarreal today in pre-season, with a 1-1 draw at Elland Road thanks to Joel Piroe\u2019s equaliser.<\/p>\n

Speaking post-match via Beren Cross of The Athletic, in full, Farke said: \u201cOffensive-wise, if we are really honest, we have lost one of our main threats of the offence with Manor Solomon.<\/p>\n

\u201cDidn\u2019t have many additions so far from then, if I am really honest. Then, you don\u2019t have players like Dan James who\u2019s important for us. Jack Harrison is not available due to injury.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen they are not available, then of course, it\u2019s a bit thin the offence. We know what we have to do and what we need.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is precisely why Leeds need Solomon replacements<\/a>, even if James, Willy Gnonto, and Largie Ramazani are all exciting options in their own right.<\/p>\n

The Athletic\u2019s\u00a0Beren Cross believes Leeds have pitched to several wingers<\/a>\u00a0while the process for Igor Paixao was ongoing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One alternative to both Solomon and Paixao for\u00a0Leeds could be RC Strasbourg\u2019s Dilane Bakwa<\/a>. Cross revealed he is someone they have their eye on already.\u00a0Bakwa was linked alongside Bilal El Khannouss<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He wrote that he \u201cis another wide option Leeds have explored. His career goals and assists so far are not out of this world in the same way Paixao\u2019s and Solomon\u2019s have been of late, but the 22-year-old still ticks many of the boxes Leeds need in and out of possession from their wingers next term.<\/p>\n
